How We Make Our Artisan Salsas
At Enchanted Spoon, we make our salsas the way they've been made across the Southwest for generations—bold, flavorful, and built around local ingredients. We start with ripe tomatoes, robust peppers, onions, garlic, and herbs chosen for freshness and character. Every ingredient is handled by hand, prepped in small batches, and infused carefully into refined recipes that achieve exceptional balance and depth.
First, the vegetables are chopped coarse, while others finer, depending on the style and purpose of the salsa. This is because the texture and balance greatly matters—nothing gets watered down. Next, the seasoning is added slowly in layers. Salt draws out the natural sweetness of the tomatoes while citrus helps sharpen the edge. Peppers and garlic provide the heat and depth that builds, not hits quick and disappears. Then we add the remaining spices and signature ingredients, adjusting each batch as needed to shape the distinct flavor profile of every salsa.
